Letter: Calabrese Has 'Talent, Integrity, Good Judgment'
Fairfield resident Laurie McArdle on why she's voting for Anthony Calabrese come Tuesday.
Dear Editor.
Taxpayers in District 7 have an exciting slate of Republican candidates to represent them on the RTM. Some are familiar faces who have already been effectively serving as members and others are fresh new faces who bring the right kind of experience and perspective the we need on the RTM. is one of those fresh new faces and I urge you to support him on November 8th.
Anthony has a passion for improving the lives of children and dedicated his career to it. He is heavily active in the community, serving over the last six years as a Recreation Coordinator for the Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department. Among his accomplishments, he worked tirelessly with town officials over a period of time to implement improved safety and usage measures at the skate park.
Anthony is also proud to be among an elite group of individuals to serve as Field Officials for NCAA Football. Those fortunate enough to earn a position like this in the NCAA first have to endure a rigorous assessment, testing and training process, accepting only the best performers. This is a true testament to his talent, integrity, and good judgement.
Anyone who knows Anthony will tell you he's hardworking and honest and has an enthusiasm that is simply contagious. He loves this town and is thoroughly committed to fiscal responsibility, transparency and increased scrutiny of the budget. He is also committed restoring taxpayer confidence in our town government. So please join me in support of Anthony Calabrese for the RTM in District 7 on November 8th.
Laurie McArdle
