Letter: Harrison The Right Choice For Fairfield Zoning Commission

Letter to the editor,

I am pleased to be supporting Alexis Harrison for the two-year position on the Town Plan & Zoning Commission. The TPZ is responsible for many important decisions facing our town including economic development, land preservation, diversity in our housing stock and the list goes on. Alexis is an independent voice and thinker who keeps abreast of a wide range of land use issues and someone who will make sound decisions rooted in common-sense and information.

At a statewide level, Alexis has fought to keep our zoning decisions made by our local commissions and the people who live in our communities, holding rallies throughout Connecticut, writing op-ed articles, and holding online forums. Through her work with FairPLAN, she has been a voice for sound environmental policy, helped neighborhoods and residents at land-use commissions and has been committed to smart growth in our community.

Alexis has earned our trust and support, and she is the right choice for Fairfield’s TPZ.
