Stop & Shop Store #673 760 Villa Ave Fairfield CT 06825, is miss labeling meat overcharging their customers this 80/20 ground beef was on sale for $2.99 lb all the 80/20 ground beef was labeled and priced @ 85/15 for $4.49lb when the error was brought to the attention for management Nina treated my daughter like she was trying to steal from the store because Nina did not know what was on sale. This is the note sent to Stop & Shop when this happened - I have my daughter go shopping for me for grocery purchases because I am disabled. All of the 80/20 ground beef was labeled 85/15 $4.49 per lb, not the sale price of $2.99lb as in this week circular my daughter told a store employee who got a manager Nina, Nina got really rude with my daughter and told her the ground beef was not on sale and started treating her like she was trying to scam your store then my daughter pointed out to her it was on sale in the circular and that all of the 80/20 ground beef was missed labeled as 85/15 and priced $1.49lb higher and Nina kept treating her like a criminal and when Nina figured out she was wrong Nina made a cashier weight all the meat again & complained that one of the packages did have a (Value) sticker on it before processing the order while Nina belittled my daughter in front of other employees and customers. We as consumers expect not to be scammed from our local grocery store or treated like common criminals when they get caught scamming you. You steal from a store you go to jail for shoplifting, What happens when the store is stealing from the customers?
