Man, 77, Struck By Car While Crossing Street In Fairfield
The pedestrian was reportedly critically injured in the accident.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A 77-year-old Fairfield resident was critically injured after being struck by a car while crossing the Post Road on Saturday evening, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports Kenneth Eckert was crossing near Shoreham Village Drive when he was struck.
The driver, a 72-year-old Bridgeport resident, remained on the scene and didn’t appear to be impaired or speeding, police told the Fairfield Daily Voice.
