Man Accused In Fairfield Burglary Charged With Fleeing Police
The man admitted that the day before the break-in, he fled Fairfield police because he was high on PCP and scared, law enforcement said.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Bridgeport man accused of breaking in to a Fairfield home faces new charges after he admitted to fleeing law enforcement in a stolen vehicle the day before the burglary, according to police.
Alberto J. Rosado, 30, of the 700 block of Brewster Street, was detained Jan. 18 after he entered an unlocked vehicle early that morning on South Benson Road, stole some sunglasses, used a garage door opener to access a nearby house and took over $6,000 worth of objects from the home, police said last month. Rosado led law enforcement on a chase shortly after the burglary and was eventually identified and charged with a long list of offenses, according to police.
While being held in custody on bond, Rosado told police that on Jan. 17 — the day before the burglary — he fled law enforcement in a stolen Subaru, a police report said. Rosado told law enforcement he drove away because he was high on PCP and got scared, according to the report.
