Man Chases Fairfield Teen Through Traffic on Black Rock Turnpike

Teenager allegedly yelled, threw squeegee at the man at a gas station during the incident.

A Fairfield teenager and a 37-year-old man were involved in a recent skirmish in which police spotted the man chasing the 17-year-old through traffic on Black Rock Turnpike, after he allegedly threw a squeegee at him.

According to the Fairfield Citizen, the teenager was a passenger in a car that was being fueled at the Mobil gas station on Black Rock Turnpike last Thursday and began yelling at the man when he saw him and allegedly threw the squeegee at him.

The man, who told police he had previously reported the teen for trespassing, then began chasing the teenager, according to the Citizen.

Police were called to the scene by the gas station’s manager.

The teenager was issued a summons for creating a public disturbance.
