The man was found to be in possession of nearly 200 images of child pornography, according to the Connecticut Post.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A man who was on probation after being convicted of sexually assaulting a Fairfield 8-year-old is again in custody after he was found to be in possession of nearly 200 images of child pornography, according to the Connecticut Post.

Paul Sykes was charged last week with violating probation after authorities discovered the images on his hard drive, as well as two videos of child pornography and more than 100 weapons-related documents, the Post reported. Sykes was working at a Fairfield print shop when he was accused in 2007 of sexually assaulting the boy during a visit to the child’s home for a computer repair, according to the Post, which reported that Sykes pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

As of Saturday, Sykes is in custody on a $150,000 bond and is set to next appear in court Feb. 1, according to court records.
