Man Faked Being Hit by Car in Stop & Shop Parking Lot: Fairfield Police
The man was recently arrested on a warrant.
Fairfield, CT — Fairfield Police have arrested a Trumbull man, saying he faked being struck by a car in the Stop & Shop parking lot in May, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Jaiden T. Cirillo, 49, of Alden Avenue, was arrested on a warrant for the May 31 incident.
On that day, a woman called 911 in a panic to report that she had just struck a man while backing up in the Stop & Shop parking lot, but witnesses quickly told police that the man faked being hit.
