Man Stabbed in Leg, Robbed of iPhone While Walking Home from Fairfield Train Station: Report

The robbery occurred early Tuesday morning.

Fairfield, CT — A 30-year-old man was robbed of his iPhone and stabbed in the leg while walking home from the Fairfield Metro train station early Tuesday morning, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports the victim told police he was pushed to the ground by the robber and believes he was cut as the two wrestled on the ground.

The victim was treated at the scene for an injury described as minor and taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, according to the Citizen.
