Man Stole $2,100 Worth Of Cigarettes In Overnight Burglary: Fairfield Police

The man is accused of breaking into a market and reportedly is connected to another burglary in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Shelton man is accused of stealing more than $2,100 worth of cigarettes from the Spic and Span Market in Southport during an overnight burglary this past June, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports Todd Conley, 35, of Howe Avenue, was arrested on a warrant this week in connection to the June 2 burglary that occurred at about 3 a.m. when the glass front door was smashed in. (To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Conley is also expected to be charged in connection to a burglary that occurred at the scale house at the town’s transfer station at about 1:30 a.m. that same morning, according to the Citizen.
