Man Threatened Co-Worker After Restaurant Firing: Fairfield PD
A man is accused of threatening to "hurt or kill" a former co-worker after he was fired from a restaurant in Fairfield, according to police.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A man is accused of threatening to “hurt or kill” a former co-worker after he was fired from a restaurant in Fairfield last month, according to police.
Jose Baltazar Rivas, 39, was arrested on a warrant and charged with second-degree threatening.
Police said the incident happened Oct. 23 at the Sinclair Bar & Kitchen.

Rivas was released after posting a $10,000 bond. He was warned to not have any contact with the victim or any other employees of Sinclair, according to police.
Police said Rivas was also issued a criminal trespass warning for Sinclair Bar & Kitchen.

He is due back in court on Dec. 2.
