The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Planning and zoning should long term vision that can spur economic growth while keeping Fairfield moving forward and affordable and welcoming.
I am not seeking office to render reactionary decision. I will work with all stakeholders to craft a common vision for the future of our town.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
Every candidate brings their own perspective and passion to a particular post. We all care deeply about the future of Fairfield. I am a problem solver and not a politician. My experience and skillsets that are directly related to this post.
As an architect, I don't pick winners and losers in my practice. I believe that planners regardless of political affiliation should provide long term vision for the town and should make informed decision based on actual data.
As a small local business owner, I work closely with my clients to investigate, to analyze and put forth informed solutions. I also work daily with team members with competing professional interests and agendas to craft solutions for a given charge and make appropriate recommendations to our clients. If elected, and i will bring the same collaborative spirit to the board.
Accomplishments:
I served on the Fairfield Human services commission prior to joining The Roger Ludlowe Building Committee from 2013 to completion(1/2/19).
Other issues:
Promote sensible and smart commercial development growth to lessen residential taxes and to keep our downtown vibrant.
