Masked Man Robs Liquor Store At Gunpoint: Fairfield Police

The robbery occurred Friday night and police are searching for the suspect.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Police are investigating after a masked man robbed a liquor store at gunpoint Friday night in Southport. The robbery occurred at about 8:50 p.m. on April 26 at Pequot Liquor, located at 3430 Post Road.

Police said the suspect entered the store and brandished a silver handgun. The clerk at the store gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash from the register.

The suspect, described as black male wearing a black ski mask, baggy jacket, and blue jeans, left the store and was last seen walking east on Kings Highway. A K-9 Unit responded to the scene and initiated a track but was unsuccessful in locating a suspect, according to police.
