May Day Walk Planned by Grasmere by the Sea

Looking for something to do on May Day?

The 2011 Grasmere Annual Health Walk to benefit Grasmere by the Sea Adult Day Services is scheduled for Sunday, May 1. Registration is at 9:30 a.m., and the walk starts at 10 a.m., rain or shine. Pre-registration is not required.

The three-mile walk will start at the Grasmere by the Sea Center located at One Post Road, Fairfield and travel around beautiful St. Mary's by the Sea and finish back at the Center. This year's proceeds will help fund a new bus which provides transportation for clients from Fairfield, Easton, Bridgeport, Stratford, Southport, Shelton, Trumbull and Westport.

There will be a bake sale, with wonderful home-baked goodies to take home. The cost of the walk is $20 per adult; $5 for a child over 10.

Platinum sponsors of the event are Vinny's Ale House located at 93 Post Road in Fairfield and Mortgage Master, the Lending Experts, at One Post Road.
