Men Rob Fairfield Verizon Store, Threaten Employee: Police
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Fairfield police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Two men robbed a Verizon store Saturday in Fairfield and threatened an employee, according to police. The incident began about 5:20 p.m., when the men entered the store at 1929 Black Rock Turnpike, police said in a news release.
The pair went to the first display inside the store, where one of the men cut the security wires on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and a Samsung Galaxy Tab E, the news release said. The same man asked repeatedly where the iPhones were located and threatened physical violence against the store clerk, according to police. The man, who police said is black, then cut the wires on an iPhone 11 and an iPhone Xs Max.
During the robbery, the second man, who is Hispanic, walked around the store on his cellphone, the news release said. The pair ran from the scene, heading north through the parking lot, according to police. No one was injured during the incident.
