Milling, Resurfacing Scheduled For Route 15 Ramps In Fairfield

Trumbull and CTDOT officials said milling and resurfacing is set to take place this month on the Route 15 ramps in Fairfield and Trumbull.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation recently announced a milling and resurfacing project is scheduled to take place on the Route 15 ramps in Fairfield and Trumbull beginning this weekend, Trumbull officials said.

According to the Trumbull town website, the project is scheduled to start Sunday and be completed May 15.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing various ramps on Route 15 in Fairfield and Trumbull.

The ramps included are Exit 30 on and off ramps in Fairfield and Exit 27 on and off ramps in Trumbull, according to the town.

The project is included in CTDOT's 2026 vendor resurfacing program, according to the town.

According to the town website, drivers can expect ramp closures on Route 15 in Fairfield and Trumbull.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns and state troopers will guide drivers through the work zone.

The work schedule for the project is Sunday night to Friday morning from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to the town.

Modifications or extensions to the schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions, according to the town.

Drivers are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in the area, town officials noted.
