Motorcyclist Suffers 'Severe Injuries' In Fairfield Crash: FD

FAIRFIELD, CT — A motorcyclist suffered "severe injuries" Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in the 1100 block of Catamount Road in Fairfield, according to fire officials.

The extent of the motorcycle operator's injuries was not disclosed, neither was the person's identity nor condition. Advanced life support measures were administered at the scene, according to fire officials.

"All of us at the Fairfield Fire Department wish the motorcyclist a speedy recovery," officials wrote on Facebook.

The crash occurred at about 1:45 p.m., reported the Connecticut Post, and it is under investigation by Fairfield police.
