Multi-Vehicle Accident On I-95 Now Cleared In Fairfield: UPDATE

FAIRFIELD, CT — A multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 95 southbound between exits 23 and 22 was reported at 7:18 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.

The left and center lanes are closed and the accident may take an hour to clear. As of 8:15 a.m. the accident has been cleared.

Also be prepared for road work until 4 p.m. on Route 15 between exits 44 and 42, or 5.6 miles, until 4 p.m. and the left lane will be closed.
