Democrat Neil Parzych, 32, is running for RTM in Fairfield.

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Affordability. Our proximity to New York City, in a housing market that sees folks leaving the city in record numbers to relocate to the suburbs, has driven housing costs in Fairfield — in both the purchase and rental markets — through the roof. Fairfield needs more affordable housing options to bring greater diversity to our town and to our schools, and and make Fairfield a town suitable for anyone who seeks to enjoy what we have to offer. No family in Fairfield should have to make the decision to leave town because they can no longer afford to live here.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

Being a newcomer to Fairfield politics, I'm not interested in playing a partisan game. Instead, my focus is on hearing the concerns of my neighbors in district 6, and doing all I can to make sure we are well represented in local government. The voices of district 6 will drive every decision I make, and and I will always vote for what is best for our neighborhood.
