New Art Studio For Kids Opens In Fairfield

The art studio recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A new art studio for kids ages 2 through 12 has opened in Fairfield. Second Floor Studio recently celebrated its opening with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Second Floor Studio is owned and operated by Jessica Howard Schiavo and located at 737 Villa Avenue, next to Giant Steps toy store.

Schiavo has been a working artist and art teacher for more than 20 years. She started out as an assistant teacher at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and since that time she has worked out hundreds of children in New York City’s private schools, according to the Second Floor Studio website.

The new art studio in Fairfield features small group settings with 5-6 kids per class with students experiencing drawing, painting, wood construction, collage, paper sculpture, working with clay and more.
