The following announcement is from the Fairfield Office of Community & Economic Development:

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Town of Fairfield's Office of Community & Economic Development is pleased to announce the official grand opening of Tabitha's Ice Cream, located at 665 Commerce Drive in Fairfield. The Town of Fairfield Office of Community and Economic Development Director, Mark Barnhart, Fairfield Chamber of Commerce President, Beverly Balaz, State Senator Tony Hwang, and State Representative Jennifer Leeper, joined owner, Susan Hickey, in celebrating the grand opening of the location in Fairfield with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 14th.

Tabitha's Ice Cream caters to the classic dessert connoisseur by combining parlor favorites with pop culture and social media trends to create a family-friendly, fun, and memorable experience. With a combined 50-year tie to the Fairfield community, Tabitha's partners were inspired to bring a new ice cream location to the Commerce Drive neighborhood to serve the up-and-coming foot traffic brought by the new construction of residences and businesses.
