New Restaurant Opens In Fairfield
The restaurant celebrated its opening with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 10

FAIRFIELD, CT — A new Indian restaurant celebrated its opening in Fairfield with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, July 10. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place Monday afternoon at Taj Indian Cuisine Restaurant, 1879 Black Rock Turnpike (behind Billy’s Bakery) in Fairfield.
This new authentic Indian restaurant, proudly follows the rich tradition of authentic Indian cuisine, offering a wide variety of specialty foods from vegetarian/vegan to house specials of meat and seafood-based menu items, according to a press release. “We’re really looking forward to serving the community,” Owner Finto Anthony said in a press release. “This location, right behind Billy’s Bakery, provides the perfect setting to enjoy all the unique flavors of authentic and traditional Indian cuisine.”

Open for lunch and dinner, their lunch buffet is offered seven days a week. Patrons can also order online and they offer delivery service as well.
“From fritters to crepes, from appetizers and starters to entrees and desserts, there is absolutely something for everyone!,” according to the press release. “And, patrons can order their meals: medium, spicy, or hot.”
