Tuttobene Restaurant Celebrates Opening In Fairfield

The restaurant's owners say the only thing frozen in the kitchen is gelato that is flown in from Italy.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A new Italian restaurant, which prides itself on homemade recipes and says the only thing frozen in the kitchen is gelato that is flown in from Italy, has opened in Fairfield. Tuttobene Restaurant & Bar, located at 238 Post Road in Fairfield, celebrated its grand opening with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony this week. First Selectman Mike Tetreau was joined by Fairfield Chamber of Commerce President Beverly Balaz and other invited guests at the event.

Owners Dean Cannone and Claudio Conte have joined together to create a unique fine Italian dining experience at Tuttobene. Conte is an accomplished chef with more than 35 years in the restaurant business. The restaurant ā€œprides itself on homemade recipes using the finest ingredients, including house-made pasta and authentic gelato imported from Italy. Tuttobene also features a one-of-a-kind cocktail menu by David Cohade,ā€ according to a press release.

ā€œWe are thrilled to have Tuttobene Restaurant & Bar join our diverse, vibrant and ever-changing restaurant scene,ā€ Community & Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart said. ā€œSmall businesses like Tuttobene are what make Fairfield what it is, and we wish Dean Cannone and Claudio Conte much success in their new business venture.ā€
