New Restaurants Opening in Downtown Fairfield

Two new restaurants are celebrating their openings in downtown Fairfield.

Taberna, a popular Spanish tapas restaurant in Bridgeport, recently opened its second location in Fairfield at the Brick Walk, 1229 Post Road, but plans to have a grand opening celebration on Sept. 13, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

Also opening on Saturday (Aug. 29) is b.good, a small chain restaurant that is opening its second location in Connecticut at the corner of Post Road and Sanford Street in the former Las Vetas coffee house site, according to the Citizen.

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

According to its website, the b.good chain was started by two best friends that started the business together “around a simple idea – make fast-food “real” by making it the way it should be… by people not factories.

“See, we loved fast-food but hated how it made us feel. So, we created a place where you can feel good about the food you eat.”
