Numerous Vehicle Thefts, Burglaries Reported In Fairfield: Police
There have been several reports of vehicle thefts and items stolen from vehicles in recent days, Fairfield police said.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Authorities have responded to numerous reports of vehicle thefts and items stolen from vehicles in recent days, according to police.
The specifics are as follows, via arrest and incident logs provided by the Fairfield Police Department.
Nov. 19
6:13 p.m., 900 block of High Street: MacBook Pro stolen from unlocked vehicle.

6:48 p.m., 400 block of Pine Creek Avenue: Vehicle stolen by relative of owner. Relative was tracked by K-9, arrested and released on a $2,500 bond, according to police.
Nov. 21
6:24 a.m., Hurd and Ruane streets: Two men in an SUV were reported to be checking door handles. Two vehicles traveling together in the area sped away when police arrived. One of the vehicles was found at Circle Inn with a flat tire and determined to be stolen from Overhill Road.

6:41 a.m., Overhill Road: Vehicle reported stolen overnight with keys, located on northbound Interstate 95 at Exit 27.
9:18 a.m., 100 block of Lee Drive: Vehicle stolen, doors were unlocked and keys were in the vehicle along with purse, credit cards and more. App shows vehicle to be in the Bronx.
10:55 a.m., 200 block of Hemlock Hills Road North: Two unlocked vehicles broken into overnight, luggage and cash stolen.
11:43 a.m., 1000 block of North Benson Road: Plate lost or stolen from vehicle.

11:13 a.m., Old Farm Road: Catalytic converter reported stolen from vehicle in driveway, occurred Nov. 18.
Nov. 25
8:54 a.m., 200 block of Parkwood Road: Two vehicles reported entered, $200 in gift cards stolen.
10:19 p.m., Green Acre Lane: Unlocked car reported to have been broken into and rummaged through previous night, gift cards stolen.
