Alan Niestemski, 51, of Fairfield, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
Born in Bridgeport, son of Shirley Plude Niestemski and the late Henry Niestemski, Alan was a Fairfield town resident for most of his life.

In his younger years he had been a professional wrestler known as the "Punisher.” He later worked for several companies in sales and home improvement. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching the Fairfield Little League and Pop Warner football teams.
Alan will be fondly remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to all. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his mother Shirley, Alan leaves behind his brothers Hank and Steven Niestemski, a sister Cindy Anschutz and her husband Chip, his longtime girlfriend Diane Pekar and her family Carrie and Gerry Walker as well as nieces and nephews Karyn Putney, Trevor Niestemski, Kyle O'Brien and Beth Niestemski.
