Obituary: Alice B. Goodfellow, 104, of Fairfield
She was a member of the Southport Women's Club, the Gaelic American Club and was the oldest member of the "Over 50 Club."

Alice B. Goodfellow, 104, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Kenneth A. Goodfellow, Sr., passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
Born June 16, 1912 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late George and Mary Bryers, she had been a Fairfield resident for more than 80 years. Mrs. Goodfellow had been employed in the Fairfield Town Clerk’s Office during the tenure of Mary Katona. She was a member of the Southport Women’s Club, the Gaelic American Club and was the oldest member of the “Over 50 Club.”

Alice loved baking for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and would never miss the opportunity to bake them their birthday cake. She also loved crocheting Afghans for her grandchildren who cherished them for years.
Mrs. Goodfellow loved to travel and camp with her husband and family and was particularly fond of her Alaska trip. Survivors include three beloved children, Curtis E. Goodfellow and his wife Diane of Little Rock, AK, John A. Goodfellow and his wife Virginia of Fairfield and Carol A. Calise and her husband Angelo of Wilton; a daughter-in-law, Lorayne Goodfellow of Flagler Beach, FL; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth A. Goodfellow, Jr., three brothers and two sisters.
