Obituary: Antonio P. Branco, 70, Of Fairfield

Antonio P. Branco, 70, of Fairfield, originally from Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on April 11, 2022. Antonio was born on Nov. 17, 1951, to Gracinda Esteves Poigo and the late Antonio Branco.

Talented with numbers from an early age, Antonio was an accountant for many years prior to his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting cars. His greatest joy came from spending time with his mother and his cousins and friends. In addition to his mother, Gracinda, he is survived by cousins Jose and Rosa Branco of Bridgeport, as well as aunts and cousins in Portugal, Massachusetts and Maine.

Family and friends were invited to visit Monday, April 18, 2022, at the Spear Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
