Obituary: Arnold G. Kavulich, 88, of Fairfield
He retired from the Center for Financial Studies at Fairfield University and enjoyed his time as a Fairfield Little League & Babe Ruth coach

Arnold G. Kavulich, 88, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Emma (Amy) Kavulich, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Lord Chamberlain Health Center. Born in Taylor, PA, the son of the late John and Anne Kavulich, he had been a Fairfield resident for most of his life. He was a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Mr. Kavulich retired from the Center for Financial Studies at Fairfield University. He was a life member of the Elks Club, B.P.O.E. 2220 in Fairfield. Arnie enjoyed working in his yard and was a lifelong baseball and long-suffering Mets fan. He especially enjoyed his time as a Fairfield Little League and Babe Ruth coach.

Survivors include three devoted sons, Michael J. Kavulich Sr. and his wife, Anne of Monroe, Marc S. Kavulich and his wife, Laura of Stratford and Maris J. Kavulich and his wife, Judy of Stamford. He also leaves his 10 loving grandchildren Michael, John and Sarah; Nicole and husband Rich, Matthew and fiancé Kelsey, Jenna and Hope; Jim, Tom and Joe and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Jack Kavulich and sister, Anna Kavulich.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Spring Meadows and Lord Chamberlain for their loving care of Arnold during his final years. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.
