Obituary: Arthur Walters Sesselberg Jr., 53, of Fairfield
Arthur was a lifelong sailor and a passionate hobbyist. His greatest passion, however, was spending time with his family and friends.

Arthur Walters Sesselberg Jr., 53, of Fairfield, beloved husband of Abby (Kracov) Sesselberg, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital following a short illness. Born in New York City, he had been a lifelong Fairfield area resident.
He graduated from Greens Farms Academy where he met his wife, and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rollins College in Florida. Mr. Sesselberg worked for more than 25 years in the publishing business, most recently in sales for Simon & Schuster.

Arthur was a lifelong sailor and a passionate hobbyist. He loved collecting and working on cars, antique outboard motors, and tinkering with anything mechanical that was within reach. His greatest passion however, was spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors in addition to his loving wife Abby include two sons of whom he was very proud, Herrick A. (Harry) and Graham D. Sesselberg of Fairfield; his mother, Elizabeth (Mills) Sesselberg of Southport; a brother, Dr. Henry W. Sesselberg and his wife Tracy of Cape Elizabeth, ME; three nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Walters Sesselberg.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service celebrating his life Wednesday October 12 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 651 Pequot Avenue, Southport. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Arthur’s memory may be made to a fund established through TD Bank for the educational needs of his sons, c/o Abby Sesselberg.
