Brenna graduated from Bay Path College in Longmeadow MA with an Associate’s degree in 1989 and worked in New York City law firms as an executive assistant and benefits manager through much of the 1990s.
Upon moving to Fairfield in 1998 she turned her energies toward raising her three sons and became a spirited member of the community through her volunteer work with local Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Troops of which her sons were members. She was active in local outreach programs including Welcome Club, Operation Hope and the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. She was an enthusiastic parent-volunteer in her sons’ schools and the parish of St. Paul’s in Fairfield and served as Secretary on the Board of the St. Paul’s nursery school. She regularly fundraised for the American Cancer Society, Jimmy Fund and most fondly for the St. Paul’s Boys & Girls Choir, which all of her sons sang in from a young age. Her enthusiasm for the Choir brought her to Europe, most recently in 2016, to hear them sing in cathedrals across England.

Brenna adored cooking--especially for family and friends—70s music and reunions with her mother in Florida; she was an avid bicyclist, and loved hiking ever-higher Appalachian peaks with her sons.
