Mel was an avid bowler, enjoyed cooking and gardening and especially the time spent watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carmella Piccirillo Kusheba, 87, of Fairfield, wife of the late Paul Kusheba Sr., passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018.
Born and raised in Bridgeport, daughter of the late James and Theresa Kocsis Piccarillo, Carmella was a Fairfield Town resident for most of her life. She had worked for the Bead Chain Co. of Bridgeport and later for the Dictaphone Corp. until her retirement. Mel was an avid bowler, she enjoyed cooking and gardening and especially loved the times that she spent watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Paul Kusheba Jr., and his wife Noreen of Fairfield, her precious grandchildren, Paul Kusheba III and his wife Jody, Jason Kusheba and his wife Veronica and Michael Kusheba, her great-grandchildren Trisha Farone and her husband Joseph, Paul Kusheba IV and Quinten, Hudson and Presley Kusheba, she leaves behind her brothers Andrew Piccarillo and his wifeHelen, John Piccarillo and his wife Shirley, all of Stratford and Joseph Piccarillo and his wife Phyllis of Trumbull, a sister in law Barbara Piccarillo as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Anthony Piccarillo and his wife Marie, Michael Piccarillo and his wife Marie and James Piccarillo.
