Obituary: Carol Ann Michaels, 79, of Fairfield

Carol Ann Michaels, 79, went peacefully home to be with our Lord on Sept. 23, 2017. Carol was born in Teaneck, N.J. to William and Ann Odell. She enjoyed living in Fairfield and made it her home for the last 50 years.

Carol was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was predeceased by her husband George W. Michaels, Sr. and is survived by her devoted children, daughter Diane Christine Stollman and Aric (Rock) Stollman of North Hampton, NH, and son David Christopher Michaels and Christine Battaglia Michaels of Norwalk, CT, and her adored granddaughters Olivia and Kiera Michaels.

Carol was a retired secretary and children’s caregiver who cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Being a grandmother made her happier than anything else and she treasured the time she had to spend time with her two granddaughters. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and up until recently, walking at Lake Mohegan.

Her trusted companion Cuddles her cat, was a great comfort to her in her last years.

She will be missed tremendously by all who love her.
