Obituary: Catherine Mustaka Goulette, 84, Of Fairfield
Cathy was the long time restaurant owner of the Woods End Cafe in Fairfield and worked at numerous establishments throughout the years.

Catherine Mustaka Goulette, age 84, of Fairfield, peacefully entered into eternal life, surrounded by her devoted family, on Friday, November 24, 2023.
Cathy was born on November 6, 1939 in Woonsocket, RI to the late Dionis and Caloipa Bardu Mustaka. Cathy was the long time restaurant owner of the Woods End Cafe in Fairfield and worked at numerous establishments throughout the years. Her most important job was being a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Cathy enjoyed drinking coffee, playing cards, and Yahtzee. You would often find her with a magazine in one hand and a cigarette in the other. She adored Elvis Presley and was able to fulfill her dream of visiting Graceland.
Cathy's memory will be lovingly remembered by her son, Daniel Goulette, of Trumbull; her daughter, Kathleen Hackett, and her husband, John, of Fairfield; five grandchildren, Tiffany Galemba, and her husband, Dustin, Jasmine Lengyel, and her husband, Scott, Ashley Lupo, and her husband, Mark, Kristine Lebel, and her husband, Tim, and Krystal Goulette; 10 great-grandchildren, Dustin, Daniel, Dylan, Ellie, Nash, Cade, Mackenzie, Mollie, Tyler, and Olivia; and one niece, Laura Donovan, and her husband, Kevin, and their sons, TJ and Michael. In addition to her parents, Cathy was predeceased by two brothers, Atanase "Artie" Mustaka and Thomas "Moose" Mustaka; and her dog, Baby.
A Trisagion Service was held on Nov. 30 with Rev. Fr. George Coca officiating. All other services will be held privately.
