Obituary: Christopher Sabados, 50, of Fairfield

Christopher Sabados, 50, of Fairfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 11, 2020.

Born in Bridgeport on February 6, 1970, son of Rudolph L. Sabados and Dolores Carfo Sabados, Mr. Sabados was a Fairfield resident for most of his life. He had most recently worked in the family business, New York Carpet, as the warehouse manager and fabricator. In his youth, Chris enjoyed BMX bike racing and had been the Trumbull track champion for several years. He was an accomplished musician, playing guitar with local bands at various venues.

In addition to his parents, Chris leaves behind his children, Christopher Sabados Jr. and Isabel Sabados, his former wife Kristeen Sabados, a brother Rudolph Sabados and his wife Alene, all of Fairfield, his companion Kerri Walsh as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements in the care of the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home.
