Obituary: Colleen J. Dolan, 59, of Fairfield

Colleen J. Dolan, 59, of Fairfield and formerly of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. She attended Westhill High School, Class of 1976, and was a graduate of Katherine Gibbs School.

She was formerly employed at the Olin Companies, Singer Corporation, P.J. Carroll and Perkin Elmer. Colleen was talented, loving, and filled with laughter that bubbled over into the world around her. She spread joy just by being herself.

Colleen is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Dolan of Fairfield and her cherished daughter, Megan of Tampa, FL; her mother, Patricia Jones of Madison; her siblings and their spouses, Philip (Patrice) Jones of Phoenix, AZ, Kristin (Phillip) Zhivago of Jamestown, RI, Cindy (Peter) Richar of Clinton, David (Kathleen) Jones of Guilford and John (Margaret) Jones of Purceville, VA; 16 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved father, Philip Jones.

Friends are invited to greet her family on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Rd. in Fairfield Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. directly at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Rd. in Fairfield. Interment will be private.
