Obituary: David V. Ross, 61, of Southport

David V. Ross, 61, of Southport, the beloved son of Catherine Ross and the late Frederick Ross, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at his residence. He was a lifelong Fairfield/ Southport resident.

David graduated from Johnson State College and had a career in financial services, recently working at Thomson Reuters and Hewlett Packard. He enjoyed the outdoors and found peace while skiing, biking and golfing; and he also had a love of purchasing cars! David was a longtime member of the Mount Snow Ski Club in Vermont and Brooklawn Country Club.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his daughter, Sophia Ross and his sister, Amy Ross. He will also be missed by several cousins and many friends, including his loving dog, Buddy.

Friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 1530 Bronson Rd. in Fairfield. A Memorial Mass to celebrate David’s life will follow at 1:00 p.m. at St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Dr. in Fairfield.
