Her love for her work was only overshadowed by her passion for the New York Yankees. As a true fanatic, she spoke of the Yankees as though she was an owner. This created a friendly rivalry with her good friend, Joyce Marlow, an avid Red Sox fan.
Dolores and Joyce, along with their other good friend, June Chiodo, had a true friendship for many, many years. In addition, she was a classically trained pianist and opera singer and enjoyed attending performances at the Lincoln Center and various locations. Dolores truly loved her family, spoke of them often and was a caring and generous individual.
