Obituary: Eleanor Grosso, 100, Of Fairfield

Eleanor Grosso, passed into eternal rest at 100 years of age, on July 26, 2023, at Sunrise Senior Living of Fairfield.

A sweet, gentle soul, devoted wife and mother, she will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Eleanor loved classical music, gardening, taking long walks and most of all taking care of the family she loved so much. She was especially proud of her two children who took care of her in her later years. David Grosso, who recently retired from a 40 year career in advertising as a writer and Creative Director and Diane Grosso McGeady, who is a Customer Service Specialist at MBI Inc and brought her three beloved grandchildren.

Eleanor is predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward; and her son-in-law, Brian McGeady. She is survived by her son, David Grosso, and his partner, Donna Ramous, of Redding CT; daughter, Diane McGeady; grandchildren, Sean, Megan, and Kyle McGeady; great granddaughter, Harper Lebroski; and her beloved caretaker, Mikerline Romeus, of Fairfield.

A Graveside Service was held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
