Obituary: Florence (Pavelo) Hayes, 87, Of Fairfield

Florence (Pavelo) Hayes, age 87, of Fairfield, formerly of Stratford, joined the love of her life, Frank Piccirillo, in Heaven on June 20, 2023 after having a stroke. Florence was the daughter of Tom & Alice Pavelo.

Florence is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Paul Wilkinson. In addition, she leaves behind her loving caregivers, Nancy Piccirillo and Fran Smith. She was predeceased by her husband, Allen Hayes. The family would like to give special thanks for the extra care given by Marjory (Maugrite) & Simone in her last days.

As Florence requested, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
