Obituary: Frank E. Marak, 84, Of Fairfield

Frank E. Marak, 84 of Fairfield and the beloved husband of Jacqueline (Blazok) Marak, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born in Bridgeport to the late Andrew and Amelia (Wydra) Marak and was a lifelong resident.

Frank graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School, Class of 1958. He then joined the U.S. Navy and served honorably for four years. He was a precious metal specialist at Handy & Harmon where he retired after 40 years. In his spare time, Frank loved to garden and watch the New York Mets and Giants games.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his two sons, Matthew Marak of Fairfield and Michael Marak and his wife, Jill of Naugatuck. He will also be missed by his sister, Andrea Hubicska of Shelton. He was predeceased by his brother, Andrew Marak.
