Obituary: Gary Conrad Bock, 65, Of Fairfield
The retired pharmaceutical senior marketing director was the varsity golf coach at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.

Gary Conrad Bock, age 65 of Fairfield, the loving husband of Janice Bock for over forty-three years, passed away suddenly on October 27, 2023 with his family by his side. Born in Jersey
City, NJ to the late Conrad Bock Jr. and Mabel Helen Bock, he grew up in Westwood, NJ, graduated with a master’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and had been living in Fairfield for the past 34 years. Prior to his retirement nine years ago, he was a Sr. Marketing Director in the pharmaceutical industry. He was currently the varsity golf coach at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.
Gary had an intense love for his family, friends, golf, and life as a whole. Nothing made him happier than his children and grandchildren. They were his greatest joy.

Gary was a true friend, a caring husband, a loving father, and devoted Opa (grandfather). To know him was to love him definitely applies to Gary. He will be truly missed.
In addition to his wife Janice, Gary is survived by his two children: his son, John Bock and his wife, Julie of Fairfield and his daughter, Laurie Bock of Stoneham, MA; his mother, Mabel Bock of Dumont, NJ; his sister, Susan Muller of Dumont, NJ and his two cherished grandchildren, Avery and Paul.

Friends are invited to greet his family on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. directly at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road in Fairfield. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
