Obituary: Gennaro (Jerry) Montefuscoli Jr., 29; Fairfield Native

Gennaro (Jerry) Montefuscoli Jr., 29, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away on November 1, 2018.

He was the loving son of Jerry and Robin Greene Montefuscoli, dearest brother to Summer Lynn Montefuscoli and her boyfriend, Andrew Clark-Smith. He will also be remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom had great love for him.

Raised in Fairfield, Jerry graduated from Fairfield Warde High School in 2007, where he was the captain of the varsity football team. He enjoyed playing football, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Jerry liked to take trips to the casinos with family and friends as well. Holiday gatherings with family and friends were especially important to Jerry. He had a big heart, and was always ready to help those around him in need. One of a kind, his memory as a truly special person will be embraced by those whom he touched in life.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield center, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church, Fairfield. His interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
