Geoffrey A. Riches, age 81, the loving husband of Carole Riches for over 50 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2022. Born in Gravesend, Kent, England to Cyril and Thelma Riches, Geoffrey joined the Merchant Marine at a young age and then went on to work in shipping management. His career took him from the Bahamas to New York City working for Navios Corporation from 1978-2005. He then retired and did marine consulting.

Geoffrey was a generous person and had a weird and wonderful sense of humor. In his retirement, he loved to golf; paint and volunteer at St. Vincent’s Hospital for many years. He also was an avid soccer and cricket fan.
