Gracinda P. Branco, 91, of Fairfield, formerly of Bridgeport passed away on Friday January 27, 2023. She was the wife of the late Antonio Branco, Sr. Gracinda was born in Portugal, December 27, 1931 to the late Joao Esteves Poejo and Maria Rodrigues Branco and immigrated to the United States as a young woman.

Gracinda worked many jobs throughout her life, but was a well respected Seamstress. She was the walking definition of a wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, sewing and keeping an immaculate home.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son Antonio. She is survived by nieces and nephews and very dear friends who became her family, especially in the last 9 months since her son’s passing.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Feb. 2 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Fairfield, and entombment followed in St. Michael’s cemetery, Stratford. Share an online condolence at www.spearmillerfuneralhome.com
