Obituary: Ileana Maria Caran-Costantini, 39, of Fairfield

She was a gifted artist and floral designer. Ileana enjoyed the holidays and was happiest when she had a house full of family and friends.

Ileana Maria Caran-Costantini “Tata”, 39, of Fairfield, beloved wife and best friend of Joseph Costantini, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 29, 2018 in her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport, July 1, 1978, Ileana was a lifelong resident of Fairfield and Easton. Her love of flowers and the outdoors would shine through in everything she did. She was a gifted artist and floral designer. Ileana enjoyed the holidays and was happiest when she had a house full of family and friends. Family was the utmost importance to her.

More than anything in the world, she loved being a mom. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Ileana will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was and will continue to be a true inspiration to everyone.

In addition to her husband Joe, her high school sweetheart, Ileana leaves behind her precious children, Ileana Mia "Nina" and Cristian Nico, her parents John Raul and Ileana Caran, her grandmother Ilida Lopez, her parents-in-law Mr. and Mrs. C, her siblings: Yvette and Josh Fried, Giselle Caran, Anthony and Stephanie Costantini, Sebastian Costantini, Michael and Litsa Costantini, Angela and Glenn Davis, nieces and nephews Luca, Nicholas, Isabella, Elena and Gianna, her aunts Lynn Lopez, Miralys Daly and Julie Parker and cousins Julian and Chloe Lopez, Franco Daly and Marley and Dave Rosevear, Victoria Hardy and Brigitte Rottman. She will be greatly missed by her best friends, Ali LaBelle, Megan Scanlon and Melissa DiNardo.

Memorial contributions may be made towards her children's education fund.
