Obituary: James R. Zadravecz, Sr., 55, of Fairfield

James R. Zadravecz, Sr., 55, of Fairfield, the beloved husband of Maria (Mico) Zadravecz, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 with his family by his side. Born in Bridgeport to the late James A. and Louise (Klein) Zadravecz, he was a lifelong area resident.

Jim was a dedicated carpenter and estate caretaker for many years. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed every moment he had with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his cherished son, James R. Zadravecz, Jr. of Fairfield and his brother, John Zadravecz and his wife, Karen of Milford. He will also be missed by numerous other relatives and many friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Emery Church in Fairfield. The Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Rd. is in charge of the arrangements.
