Obituary: Jane Lyons Lehaney, 70, of Fairfield
Jane's family was the most important aspect of her life and she prided herself on being a loving grandmother.

Jane Lyons Lehaney, 70, the loving wife of the late James F. Lehaney, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 with her family by her side. Born in Bridgeport to the late William and Kathleen Lyons, she was a lifelong Fairfield resident.
Jane’s family was the most important aspect of her life and she prided herself on being a loving grandmother. She loved making Sunday family dinners and cooking and baking with her grandchildren. Prior to dedicating her life to her family, she worked at SNET where she made many lifelong friendships. In addition, Jane was a woman of strong faith.

Jane is survived by her loving children: Jim Lehaney of Norwalk, Christopher Lehaney and his wife, Amy of Trumbull and Erin Myers and her husband, Bryan of Southport. She will also be missed by her cherished grandchildren, Lizzie, Meghan, Caroline, Joseph and Will and her brother, William Lyons and his wife, Mary Ellen of Fairfield. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Paul J. Lyons.
Friends are invited to greet her family on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment to follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
