Obituary: Jason S. Lillis, 47, of Fairfield
Jason, a longtime emergency dispatcher in Fairfield, was also a Fairfield Special Officer & part of the Stratfield Volunteer Fire Department

Jason S. Lillis, 47, of Fairfield, the loving son of Georgianna and Thomas F. Lillis, III of Fairfield and beloved fiancée of Jennifer DeLucia, of Windsor, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. He was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime Fairfield resident prior to moving to Windsor to be with Jennifer.
He graduated from Fairfield High School where he was the captain of the fencing team. In addition, Jason went to the Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs and Cleveland to compete in fencing. He received his bachelor’s degree from UCONN and was an emergency dispatcher for the town of Fairfield for nearly 20 years. He was also a Fairfield Special Officer for several years and part of the Stratfield Volunteer Fire Department.

Jason was a longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Southport where he sang in the choir for over 10 years and performed in the Christmas musical Cantata of St. Nicholas. He also appeared in the PBS special, Searching for Wordin Ave.
In addition to his parents and fiancée, he is survived by his brothers, Thomas F. Lillis IV, his wife Judy and son Thomas of the Netherlands and Matthew E. Lillis, his wife Yvonne and son Logan of Austin, TX.

Friends may greet his family on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Rd. in Fairfield. A funeral to celebrate Jason’s life will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Southport. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
