Obituary: John Boroczky, 72; Lifelong Fairfield Resident
Boroczky was a Vietnam War veteran and worked as a carpenter for H.S. Builders Co. for nearly 45 years until his retirement.

John A. Boroczky, 72, of Fairfield, beloved husband of Kathy Nealis Boroczsky, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016.
Born in Bridgeport, Mr. Boroczky was a lifelong Fairfield resident. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

John worked as a carpenter for the H. S. Norell Builders Co. for nearly 45 years until his retirement. John was an avid reader, he enjoyed building intricate Lego structures, caring for his garden and was a longtime N.Y. Mets and Giants fan.
In addition to Kathy, his devoted wife of 43 years, survivors include his son, Scott Boroczky, his daughter, Tracy McAdam and her husband Andrew, all of Fairfield, his cherished granddaughter Genevieve McAdam, a sister Anita Kett of Ohio, a nephew Mark Flyte as well as several cousins. John also leaves behind his canine friend, Shelby. He was predeceased by his sister Carol Kycia and brother Thomas Boroczsky.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with the Rev. Mark Horton officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
